First IQ2 Debate tonight!


Tonight will be the first of the fall Intelligence Squared Debate Series. The title of the event is: Treat Terrorists Like Enemy Combatants, Not Criminals.

This is sure to be an exciting event!

FALL into politics with us!

Below are the definite Power of Politics stream events for the fall semester. We I look forward to adding to these based on your suggestions. The list doesn't include Convocation of course (Sept 11), and we are still putting some finishing touches on events around the mid-term elections including for Election Night (Nov 2).

A couple of additional notes.

2. Becca will be your person on the ground for most logistics and other questions.

POWER of POLITICS Stream Events Fall 2010:
For all programs, we will meet in Goddard lobby area, unless otherwise notified. Sign up for all events and programs will be at Becca's door. There will be a limited number of spaces for each event. If you sign up for an event and cannot make it, you MUST find a replacement and notify Becca and Professor Gershman of the change, otherwise you will be responsible for the cost of your ticket.

10. The Great Game- Afghanistan (Co-program with All the World's a Stage & Global NY)

Thursday, December 2nd
Details: A co-production with the Public Theater, 12 contemporary American and British playwrights tackle the most complicated history/region/culture in the world: Afghanistan. A great way to get introduced to both an important geopolitical topic and some of the most important contemporary playwrights.
